Body Shapes are just another way that experts use to categorise womens bodies.  Knowing your body shape and what styles suit can be the difference between absolute Fashion Goddess and average Doesn't really Fit.  You can view the easy to read Body Shape Guide below for more information. 

 

PEAR BODY SHAPE

  • Narrow waist
  • Smaller bust
  • Shapely bottom half

This body shape requires you to enhance your smaller upper half with different styles, materials and colours.  

This style requires you to bring attention to your bust and waist and avoid designs and styles that create up and down straight lines. 

 

RECTANGLE BODY SHAPE

  • Undefined waist
  • Smaller bust
  • Shoulders same width as hips

 

HOURGLASS BODY SHAPE

  • Rounded bottom
  • Well defined waist
  • Bust proportionate to hips

If you have this one you've got it pretty good.  Just remember to wear figure hugging clothing to show off all the curves. 

 

APPLE BODY SHAPE

  • Fuller bust
  • Shapely legs
  • Wider waist line

If you are this body shape you will need to add definition to your waist.  Wear styles that enhance your shape and curves.

 

INVERTED TRIANGLE BODY SHAPE

  • Top heavy
  • Broad shoulders
  • Narrow hips and legs

This ones quite easy, you will need to tone down your top half and add volume and curves to your bottom half.
